Rooster Teeth

Rooster Teeth Productions creates and distributes comedy, entertainment and digital media content. Its productions are RWBY (Red vs. Blue), Gamers Gone Wild (the Slow Mo Guys), Game Attack, Cow Chop and Sugar Pine 7. The company employs a variety of people.

In addition to its regular series, RTX is an annual meeting of the community where the company displays their latest merchandise. Along with the usual T-shirts, hats and other items, the studio also offers food, such as Pumpkin Peter cereal, Dust Rock candy and the newly made coffee blend.

FIRST is an exclusive program for members of the company. Members get to see new content on the company's website a week or a day before anyone else. A higher tier of the program is called FIRST Double Gold. Coop Comics

Coop Comics, a collective of cartoonists, works together to promote and support each other. Coop Comics also works to define an industry-standard for living pay rates and helps to create new opportunities.

Coop's final mission in season 7 is to send a recruit to Cupid’s Harrow. He attempts to calm the girl's pre-wedding nerves and finds that she is his relative, most likely through her mom. This makes him appreciate his family, Phoebe PJ and Little Prue.

These co-op advertising slicks can be used by comic book retailers as their own promotional materials. The blank spaces of the slick are filled with information regarding their stores. These slicks may be printed on different media such as paper, fliers, and newspaper advertisements. These are great for promoting comics locally. DC Comics offers these slicks for sale on its website.

Babs Tarr

Barbara Tarr’s Japanese-inspired fan artwork caught the attention of DC Comics in 2014. They hired her to illustrate a new Batgirl Series. As a longtime fan and admirer of manga heroes such as Sailor Moon her capricious, erratic style fit perfectly with the witty direction DC wanted to give the character.

This resulted in the critically acclaimed series Batgirl of Burnside. With witty dialog and plenty of adventure, hipster humor, and real world woes such as social media stalkers or erased hard drives and hangovers, the show gave new life to a former Bat Family member. Tarr is also the co-host of Critical Role's Pub Draw. This show is an instructional drawing program.

Tarr's Motor Crush is a gritty story of motorcycle warriors battling for a rare narcotic machine. Tarr’s characters are in constant motion and her expressive lines give the pages a sense of energy and humor.

RWBY Volume 9

RWBY Volume 9 is finally here! A teaser for the new series was released at this year’s RTX convention. The 10 episodes will air on Crunchyroll every week starting February 18th, 2023. Subscribers of Rooster Teeth’s paid streaming platform Rooster Teeth first will also be able watch the show.

The RWBY Volume 8 finale ended on an epic cliffhanger. The baddies secured two Remnant's Relics, while our heroes were thrown in a strange world.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland seems to have been the inspiration for this new world. It has talking mice and a Cheshire Cat, as well as a foreboding Knight, and jubjub birds. It also appears to be a place for rebirth and renewal. Ruby also learns from this that ascension doesn't mean death, but rather change. This theme has a special importance, especially given the toxic fandom of RWBY.
